On 24 March 2023, the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) published a call for tenders seeking an institution to conduct a trial study.
An independent scientific institution is being sought to design, conduct and analyse the test study for the following method:"Testing the self-application of an active motion brace in the treatment of ankle fractures"
The deadline for submitting requests to participate is 4 May 2023, 14:00.
The aim of the trial study is to investigate whether the use of an active movement brace (CAM brace) leads to an improvement in joint function compared to treatment without a CAM brace in patients with a fracture of the upper ankle joint who are receiving standardised physiotherapy treatment.
