Strong Partnership
This partnership enables BEO BERLIN to utilise the expertise and technical capabilities of the renowned CERAH institution. CERAH has many years of experience in testing and developing medical aids, particularly aids for people with disabilities.
So for you this means: not much new at all. BEO BERLIN will continue to organise your CE and HMV tests for you, now in cooperation with CERAH. The services include
- Manual Wheelchairs
- Partial and complete testing in accordance with EN 12183 (2022)
- Electric wheelchairs
- Partial and complete testing in accordance with EN 12184 (2022)
International Recognition and Standardisation
CERAH is established as a leading competence centre for technical aids. The products tested and certified by the institute, including all vehicles for people with disabilities, enjoy broad acceptance on international markets.
CERAH is also actively involved in the development of new test methods and regulations at national and international level. Its role in the nomenclature of assistive devices, such as the classification of assistive vehicles in the French Health Insurance Directory (LPPR), makes it a key player for manufacturers wishing to fulfil the highest regulatory requirements.
