Once again, BEO BERLIN provided the speaker for the BVMed Academy seminar "Application procedure for the list of aids" on 27 September, which was again very well attended. This year, 37 participants informed themselves and exchanged ideas in the online seminar on the topic of "Successful application - what to do, how and when". Led by Heike Bullendorf, Head of BVMed Academy, the speakers, lawyer Jörg Hackstein from the law firm Hackstein & Reuter and Michael Vent, Managing Director of BEO BERLIN, experienced a lively exchange of experience and information with the participants.

The seminar is held annually in late summer by the BVMed Academy and gives manufacturers and distributors of medical aids an overview of the list of aids and shows possibilities to avoid the pitfalls of the application procedure. Mr Hackstein and Mr Vent familiarise the participants with the legal basis and its practical implementation, the role of the list of aids in the reimbursement of aids and the path of a product into the list of aids using practical examples. The acquired knowledge contributes to recognising the importance of the register of medical aids already in the context of product development as well as market launch and to accelerating the register of medical aids by developing early strategies. The successful team of speakers has already confirmed its participation for September 2024.
