Europe's largest congress for orthopaedics and trauma surgery is taking place again in October – and BEO BERLIN will of course be there!
The Deutsche Kongress für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie (DKOU) kommt vom 22. bis zum 25. Oktober in Berlin zusammen. Karsten Nieter-Kubin, COO von BEO BERLIN, ist ebenfalls vor Ort.
As the largest orthopaedics and trauma surgery congress in Europe, the DKOU has been an important meeting place for the medical device industry for many years. The forum provides a place for lively exchange between the most diverse interest groups: industry, research, politics, and of course patient representatives can talk to each other here, present their innovations and wishes and educate each other.
International Collaboration at the DKOU 2024
In line with the principles of European thinking, this year's congress will highlight the importance of international collaboration. Representatives from Denmark and Switzerland will join to discuss key issues for the future. Topics such as the role of artificial intelligence in trauma surgery and the broader challenge of securing a stable flow of young talent in the industry will be at the forefront. These challenges are best approached through a shared, cooperative effort.
