Berlin - The independent European Medical Market Access Network, EUMMAN for short, is expanding its partnership to include Azierta, an established consulting firm from Madrid.
Members of the network are European consulting companies from Germany, Italy, France, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and Poland, which provide their services to economic players in the medical technology market. Like all members, Azierta sees itself as an outsourced office of its clients and acts on an equal footing to develop regulatory solutions that go beyond their purely formal aspects and are developed under the criteria of pragmatism, efficiency and flexibility. ‘We are delighted to have identified a reliable contact in Spain to help our clients in the local healthcare system,’ confirms Alena Rosenberg (Head of Marketing, BEO BERLIN®). Sara Bruschi (CEO, BIOTECO S.r.l.) and Marie Glori (CEO, GloriMed Consulting SAS), who have already completed joint projects with Azierta, agree that the chemistry is right.
All network partners focus on the reimbursement of medical devices in the respective healthcare system, and consulting in the areas of CE and QM goes hand in hand with reimbursement consulting in all countries. In Germany, we are familiar with the German Medical Technical Aids Register. (HMV), while the LPPR in France is very similar to our system. Italy, Belgium and others have their own national reimbursement systems, which are generally based on social legislation and therefore require regulatory knowledge over and above MDRexpertise. After the official kick-off meeting on 19 April, things got underway. There are questions and customer requests on all sides and the first authorisation applications for medical aids are already being processed. ‘In addition to the Spanish market, we can now also reach the South American market cost-effectively with Azierta's branches,’ says Michael Vent (CEO, BEO BERLIN®).
He adds: ‘We believe that the reliable service that we at BEO BERLIN® offer for the German market for the authorisation of medical aids is also guaranteed for the Spanish market.
