Hilfsmittelverzeichnis: Important Update of Product Group 01 “Suction Devices”
The update includes the review and, if necessary, the revision of the definition, the product subgroups as well as the product types including the indications.
The GKV Spitzenverband (GKV) currently informs about the update of the „product group 01„Suction devices“This affects all types of suction devices that can be listed in PG01:
- secretion suction devices
- breast pumps
- accessories
First of all, an adaptation to the MDR (Medical Device Regulation) has taken place. All sections have undergone an editorial revision and requirements of a technical and documentary nature have been specified. It is worth taking a look at the details here. The product subgroup product type 01.24.04 01.24.04. and the product type 01.99.01.1 “Suction tubes for laryngectomised patients and supply with shunt valve” have been deleted.The publication took place on March 7th, 2023.
