Product group 11 - aids against decubitus, product group 18 - vehicles for the sick / disabled and product group 24 - prosthetic legs has been updated in the German medical technical aids directory. The updates of the product groups was published in the Federal Gazette according to § 139 (1) SGB V on 19.02.2024.
PG 11 - "Aids against decubitus"
- Die Produktgruppe wird an den aktuellen medizintechnischen und den aktuellen medizinisch-pflegewissenschaftlichem Standard angepasst. Hierfür sind sowohl strukturelle als auch redaktionelle Anpassungen erforderlich. Nach Abschluss der Fortschreibung dieser Produktgruppe beabsichtigt der GKV-SV entsprechende Umgruppierungen im Rahmen der Verwaltungsaktverfahren vorzunehmen. Dies betrifft insbesondere Produkte, die in Produktarten mit der Kennzeichnung ‚Nicht besetzt‘ gelistet sind. Hersteller die von Umgruppierungen betroffen sind, sollten wachsam sein.
- Deletions and additions have been made to clarify and update the product type description, reflecting the current state of medical technology.
- New product types have been introduced to reflect the current state of medical technology:
- 11.29.13.0 "Mattresses, foam-air cell component combination"
- 11.39.04.5 "Structured seat cushion with spacer fabric"
PG 18 „Kranken- / Behindertenfahrzeuge“
- Since the last update in 2018, several new products have been added that could not be assigned to any existing product type. As a result, new product subgroups and types have been created, including demountable and self-balancing products.
- The quality requirements for the relevant product subgroups have been updated to align with the current status of the EN 2022 standard.
PG 24 - "Prosthetic legs"
- A number of new service items were added to existing product types.
- A number of new product types have been created.
- Deletions and additions have been made for clarification and updating.
- Clarifications and adjustments to the current state of the art have been made.
