Upcoming Update of PG 08 Confirmed, Consultation Process Opened!
The GKV-Spitzenverband (GKV-SV) has announced the continuation of product group 08 ‘Insoles’. The GKV-SV has opened the consultation process and invites patient interest groups to exercise their right to be consulted. This update offers an important opportunity for manufacturers and consumer organisations to actively influence the revision of the list.

PG 08 – Inserts
As on 12 March 2025 published in the Federal Gazette, the GKV-SV intends to continue product group 08 “Deposits” in accordance with Section 139 of the Fifth Book of the Social Code (SGB V).
In accordance with Section 140f (4) of the German Social Code, Book V (SGB V), patient interest groups have been granted the right to participate in decision-making.
The deadline for submitting comments is 10 June 2025.
