How do I assert my claim as an organisation?
The List of Assistive Products and List of Nursing Aids are continuously updated and updated by the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds in Germany (GKV-Spitzenverband) in accordance with the rules of procedure.
Before updating, further developing or changing the system or the requirements of the list of medical aids, the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds must give the relevant umbrella organisations of the manufacturers and service providers concerned the opportunity to comment. Before they can exercise this right, these organisations must provide suitable evidence that the requirements have been met. This includes, in particular, the articles of association or other statutes, information on previous activities and the scope of activities as well as suitable evidence of the number of members and their composition.
Organisations that assume that they meet the requirements must submit a written notification by 31 January 2022 together with suitable evidence - if possible in electronic form.

The notifications must be submitted for each product area (product group, product subgroup or product type of the list of medical aids (Hilfsmittelverzeichnis, HMV) according to § 139 SGB V) for which an authorisation to comment is to be obtained.
It is important to note that the authorisation to issue an opinion only applies to those product areas for which the requirements are fulfilled and proven.
