On October 1, 2024, BEO BERLIN's CEO Michael Vent was invited to the BVMed Academy online seminar to talk about the intricacies of medical device approval. As expected, the seminar was a complete success and we look back on it here.

Together with the law firm Hackstein Reuter, BEO BERLIN presented its expertise at the BVMed seminar. The combination of BEO BERLIN's regulatory affairs know-how and Hackstein Reuter's legal knowledge and experience provided participants with a solid overview of the pitfalls and obstacles of medical device approval.
Even though BEO BERLIN has extensive expertise in its field, it makes sense to limit one's own competences and rely on trusted and proven partnerships in order to remain fully operational.
The informative core
Of course, the BVMed online seminar was about the specialist areas of Hackstein Reuter and BEO BERLIN: legal perspectives and regulatory insights. While Michael Vent helped the audience navigate the sometimes highly complex regulatory jungle, Hackstein Reuter explained the legal framework and legal pitfalls.
At the end, there was, of course, an interactive Q&A session, where participants could ask any open questions and inquire about further topics. The many testimonials from medical device manufacturers that were presented in this round were also highly exciting and gave our experts good examples of how the previously discussed regulations for the approval of medical devices are applied.
