The GKV-Spitzenverband has opened the commenting procedure for the update of product group 04 ‘Bath and shower aids’ of the list of therapeutic appliances pursuant to Section 139 of the German Social Security Code, Book V.
The update includes a review and, if necessary, revision of the definitions, product subcategories and product types, including indications. To this end, the commenting procedure has been initiated and the update draft sent to the interest groups. The patient interest groups are thus granted the right to be consulted.
The deadline for comments is 14 April 2025.

We recommend that all manufacturers take the opportunity to provide feedback to ensure their interests and the continued listing of their products in the Aid Directory.
