Mandate transfer and product registration in swissdamed simple, secure and professionally implemented
Transfer of Mandate in the Economic Operators Module
From now on, mandates can be transferred directly from one Swiss authorised representative to another in swissdamed – including all associated medical devices.
Procedure for Transferring Mandates:
- The existing authorised representative submits an application for transfer of mandate to the new authorised representative.
- Prerequisite: Both authorised representatives and the mandate to be transferred are registered in swissdamed and have the status ‘Registered’.
- If the status of the new authorised representative is changed to ‘Inactive’ after the application has been submitted, the application will be automatically cancelled.
- The new authorised representative may approve or reject the application.
- Approval: Transfer will take place on the specified date.
- Rejection: Mandate remains with the previous authorised representative.
- If no action is taken by the transfer date, the application will be automatically cancelled.
