Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Create an EU Login:
- Go to the EU Login page and click on „Create your EU Login account“.
- Create a password and write down your login details to access the EUDAMED database.
2. Log in to the EUDAMED-Database:
- Log in with your EU login details.
- Navigate to the „New Actor Registration“.
3. Registration Process:
- Define role: Define the role of the economic operator (manufacturer, importer, pack producer or EU representative).
- Country and name of the economic operator: Enter the country (e.g. Germany) and the name of the actor (e.g. Test GmbH).
- Language and VAT number: Fill in the fields for the language of the company name and the VAT registration number.
- Commercial register number and certificate: Enter the commercial register number and upload the commercial register certificate.
- Company address and contact details: Enter the address and contact person, including contact details.
- Responsible person: Appoint a person to be responsible for the conformity assessment procedure .
4. Set up the Local Actor Administrator (LAA):
- Specify LAA: Enter the personal details of the LAA.
- Upload Declaration: Upload the completed and signed „Declaration on Information Security Responsibilities“ form.
- Permanent employment: Confirm whether the LAA is permanently employed or working as a subcontractor.
5. Select the Responsible National Authority:
- Find the postcode: Use the Excel list provided to find the appropriate authority based on the postcode.
- Select authority: Select the appropriate authority from the list.
6. Check Registration Status:
- The registration status will be stored online. Check the progress regularly and look out for e-mail notifications from the competent authority.
7. Conclusion and Receipt of SRN:
- Once the registration has been approved, you will receive a Single Registration Number (SRN).
